The product is a reinforced elastomeric waterproof coating fit for exterior surfaces. The long-lasting fibre technology makes Damp Shield, the best.

Damp Shield is a reinforced elastomeric water proof coating suitable for exterior surface.

  • DIRECTION FOR USE SURFACE PREPARATION: Prepare the surface by cleaning and ensure that it is free of dust, Grease, oil and a loose particles. Small cracks should be opened cleaned and filled with crack seal.
  • APPLICATION METHOD: A- Horizontal Surface- Apply a self-priming coat of Damp Shield diluting with water 3:1 ratio
  • Apply two perpendicular coat of Damp Shield without dilution.
  • Achieve forced system coverage of 0.93 sq. Mtr/L.
  • Allow it to dry for 4 to 6 hours between coats.
  • For best performance on terraces, ensure that the product is applied on entire roof including parapet walls.

B-Vertical Surface - Fresh Painting

Apply a self-priming coat of Damp Shield diluting with water 3:1 ratio.

  • Apply second coat of Damp Shield without dilution.
  • Achieve forced system coverage of 2.32 sq. mtr/l.

Repainting- on previously painted surface with high quality exterior emulsion apply single undiluted coat of Damp Shield with forced coverage of 2.79-3.25 sq. mtr/L.

  • TOP COAT APPLICATION : Apply 2 coats of Turbolux Exterior Emulsion of desired shades.
  • Allow it to dry for 4-6 hours between coat.
  • PRECAUTIONS
    • Don't apply during rain or extreme temperature.
    • Avoid excessive surface abuse which would lead to puncturing of the coating of films, corner and joints of drain pipes, channels etc to be treated with cement and mortars prior to coating application. Effective on all exterior surfaces like terraces, chajjas, vertical walls etc.
  • SURFACE TEMPERATURE REDUCTION: This property is applied for terraces and only for white shades.
